ABOUT US
We are a small, 100% scratch, locally owned, and operated authentic French bakery right here in Tucson Arizona established in 2019. A husband-and-wife duo with 35 years' combined experience, Noelle's culinary education placed an emphasis on French preparations and methods, while Daniel has spent the whole of his career studying, dissecting, and perfecting the delicacy and nuance of traditional French methods and preparations. We may not be French, and we may not speak the language, but one doesn't have to be French to speak the language, you also don't have to be French to bake the goods. We like to say, we've spent our entirety mastering the arts of French baking, not the language. We all have our strengths!
We are born and raised Tucsonans and felt as though Tucson was missing what French baking really is and we wanted to share that with our community!

Many things come from France, not the least what her people have lent to food. From tools to technique and terminology, chances are that if you're doing anything in the kitchen, there's probably something French about it.

We at Cafe Francais not only embrace that notion, when it comes to French bread and pastry we don't mess around.

From honeycombed croissants to salty-sweet kouign amann, rich brioche to macaron, Cafe Francais stands as a homage and tribute to the history and prestige of French culinary influence and innovation.
